 Arts in the Park is
sponsored by the
Carillon Civic Association, a neighborhood group
dedicated to the beautification of the surrounding area including
Byrd Park. The members act as
volunteers to put on this event, and the proceeds benefit numerous
resources in the Richmond Area. The show is run strictly
by neighborhood volunteers. Last year's proceeds were used to
completely redesign and rebuild the Tot Lot Playground at the
Carillon for all Richmonders to use and enjoy. The CCA also makes
donations to various other organizations in the Richmond area as
well, such as the Children's Festival, SPARC, the Hand Workshop and
the Richmond Symphony to name a few.
